Here is a mix that Hoodrat and Doom did for Triple J MixUp Oz Music month…and it was aired on Saturday night. It started as what was meant to be a different version, directors cut kind of thing of our D is For Disco CD but we quickly lost our way..so it’s just a collection of pretty new music that we are liking at the moment. We are hosting our own D is For Disco, E is For Dancing arena on the nationwide Nevereverland tour. Not exactly sure who will be in our room but more details will be coming soon. Presets, Cut Copy, Whitest Boy Alive, Hercules and Love Affair, Klaxons, Vanshe, Bumblebeez and heaps more all playing though. And all those ning nongs complaning about all the Modular acts on the line up, Durrrrrr. Its a fucking modular birthday party. What do you expect? Evermore? Jesus.

So there are about 20 mentions of the new mix CD, “D Is For Disco, E Is For Dancing” that is OUT NOW already on this site but…here is a free download of the our remix of the great Preset’s tune “Kicking & Screaming” that we did exclusively for the CD. It will also be released on a vinyl sampler that is out later this month.

To mark the return of the band after a brief hiatus and the release of the Bismarck single on BangGang 12s later this month the Lost Valentinos are off on a national tour starting next week. The flyer above has the dates and supports so i dont need to repeat them do i?
The Bismarck remix 12″ also features remixes from Goldenbug (Gomma), everyone’s favourite discodiamonds Canyons, Dexpistols and Knife Machine along with super amazing artwork from Adam Paquette.
We’ll it’s been 11 months in the making but finally our new website is done. YEEEEW. You are looking at it right now. now. This is to replace our existing website, podcast page, blog and fagazine with this one mega cyberspace initiative. You can expect daily posts of songs, news, free downloads and other random stuff for your enjoyment.
Our new double mix CD, D is For Disco, E is For Dancing is out at the end of this month in oz (later in other parts of the world) on Modular. It features 70 tracks including the likes Jackson, Munk, Late of Pier, Holy Ghost, Boyz Noize, Atrak and heaps more. It also includes some unreleased stuff from our label, BangGang 12s as well as exclusive remixes of Cut Copy (by Bag Raiders), Tough Alliance (by Shazam) and Presets (by us!). These mixes will also be released on a vinyl and digital sampler around the same time.
We are also doing a whole bunch of tour dates which you can get out on our myspace
